Tools and Features at Versalift.com

At versalift.com, you have several tools at your disposal. This document is a brief overview of some of the features on the website that can create value for you and your customers.

Lets start with the menu itself: NEW button is How to locate Equipment & Products

The Menu allows you to search for product in multiple ways:

  • Popular Searches (Available Soon, High Reach, Near Me, Cable Placer, and Compare buttons) are on the left. Also Sort by Height
  • Middle section includes Sort by Industry Options
  • The images on the right allow you to select the TYPE of unit you are looking for.

If we select Telescopic Van we are brought to this page.

PRODUCT TYPE PAGE

Here you have the option of reading all about Vantel unit or clicking the View Van-Tel Button to jump down the page.

The page describes type of unit, both from a technical standpoint, and also from an application perspective.  Details about the lift type are and its functions are provided, a range of capabilities is given, and often some historical or optional equipment is provided.

In examining the units, you can then sort by Height or Title in both ascending and descending order. Different default values for this are provided based on popularity.   When select VIEW TRUCK button or click on the IMAGE you are brought to a single lift page for that specific unit (down to the Title Suffix which is used to define options).

SINGLE LIFT PAGE

There is a lot of information and functionality on these product pages, including verified detailed specifications, reach diagrams and downloadable spec sheets. We suggest printing these or exporting these pages for sharing (PDF) as needed.

DIRECT CONTACT

If you Click either on Request a Quote or Schedule a Demo – you are brought to an integrate form that provides the fastest way of reaching a sales representative.  This form gets a customer immediately to a manager that assigns someone to get in touch with you that is in your area, and familiar with the requirements and characteristics of how an aerial lift is commonly used in your region.

Other ways to find product

Each of the options in the NEW menu (and also in many other places) have convenient ways to sort and examine equipment. For example, if you select Electric Utilities, you are brought to a page the defines how our products are used in the Electric Utility space, and also shows all of the units we sell that can be used for the industry.  You can also select to see. only Electric Distribution, Electric Transmission units.  Pages are also available for telecom, forestry, sign trucks, and so on.

The MORE button

A quick way to find many of the most popular places on the site that customers look for  Including Contact, About, Program, and Learn Sections.  Each of the pages that are linked here are very detailed and provide direct contact information for the customer to reach their closest sales representative.

COMPARE TOOL

The most common used feature of the site is the COMPARE tool.  Found right in the middle of the menu.

This tool is fantastic as it provides a way to narrow down over 170 product type into only the units you are looking for.

Using the equipment comparison tool, which is linked directly to the top menu, a user can search for equipment based upon any requirements they choose. Filter equipment by model type, industry use, and/or vertical reach. Refine your search by choosing material handling and/or insulation options.

In the example below, I knew a few things already.  I wanted a unit for electric power distribution, I wanted it to be an articulated telescopic unit, and I knew it should be around 40 feet or so, so I selected the range 29ft-45ft.

I clicked the compare now box on the VST-36-MIH and a VST-36-I because they both had the same working height – 41.33ft.

But I want to know the difference between these units. So I click the compare now button. Very quickly I can see that there is a difference platform capacity, that one of the units has material handling, and on that unit I can see the Jib & Winch capacity.

In this example I am only comparing 2 units.  The system will allow you to compare as many as three units at time, and works on mobile devices as well.  So making these decisions and learning while in the field is possible.  Reset and “X” marks to remove units are provided.
