August 24, 2018 – Waco, Texas – Versalift, a Time Manufacturing Company announced today that it has acquired MAP Enterprises in a deal that expands the company-owned distributor “Versalift Southeast” into North and South Carolina. Versalift has been manufacturing aerial lifts, digger derricks, cable placers and other high reach equipment since the 1960’s. With this acquisition it seeks to improve coverage for the region including sales, service, and its parts business. Under the Versalift Southeast banner the deal creates significant value for electric utility and telecommunications customers in the region.
Map Enterprises and Versalift have been working together for decades, and this deal expands Versalift’s reach with an additional 18 work-bays, paint and body repair facilities, dielectric safety testing certifications, and an additional 27,000 square feet. As a wholly-owned Versalift distributor, Versalift Southeast will continue to provide and integrate the same leading quality, service, and care for the valued customers across The Carolinas.
