At this year’s show, Versalift will showcase the VST-55, an insulated articulated telescopic aerial lift designed to deliver increased working height and versatility on a non-CDL platform.
Built for the Work That Comes After the Storm
Severe weather can place extraordinary demands on utility and public works fleets. Crews may be called on to move quickly across large service territories, work around damaged infrastructure and restore critical services under difficult conditions.
That makes equipment flexibility especially important.
The VST-55 combines articulation, telescopic reach and a two-person platform to support a wide range of utility applications. For fleets responsible for both everyday operations and emergency response, having more capability available from a single truck can help crews respond efficiently when conditions change quickly.
High-Reach Capability on a Non-CDL Platform
One of the defining advantages of the VST-55 is its ability to provide high working height on a non-CDL chassis.
For fleet operators, that can provide additional flexibility when assigning equipment and personnel, particularly during storm response and mutual-aid deployments where trucks and crews may be moving across multiple service territories.
The VST-55 is also designed around priorities that matter throughout the life of the equipment, including fleet utilization, serviceability, operating costs and uptime.
Supporting Utility and Storm-Response Fleets
Disaster Vehicle Expo is focused on the vehicles, fleets and mobile infrastructure that enable effective disaster response, making it a natural setting for equipment used by utility and infrastructure crews. The show is part of the larger Natural Disasters Expo USA event in Houston.
The work of restoring communities often continues long after the initial emergency has passed.
Utility crews, municipalities and public works teams play an essential role in restoring power, repairing damaged infrastructure and helping communities return to normal operations.
Versalift designs and supports aerial equipment built for the demands of utility work, with a focus on providing fleets with the capability, reliability and support they need during both normal operations and response efforts.
