Bucket Trucks – Electricity Distribution by Versalift

The Power Distribution Industry

Bucket trucks are enormously important to the Power Distribution Industry.  Because the majority of electrical power is distributed to homes and businesses through overhead means, bucket trucks can be found throughout big cities and small towns, in bedroom communities and business districts. They are perhaps the most important tools for making sure that distribution linemen and technicians can do their jobs effectively and efficiently. More than 30 years ago, Versalift invented the Articulated Telescopic Bucket Truck, and it has continued to deliver the safest, most reliable and highest quality bucket trucks to its customers in the electrical power distribution industry.

With a family of distribution, parts and service centers, Versalift is dedicated to helping our customers in the electrical distribution industry keep their trucks on the road. Versalift has earned its strong reputation for service and quality.

Versalift supports hundreds of electrical power distribution maintenance fleets around the world. Whenever you are working with electricity, it is fundamentally important that you are confident in your equipment, and this is doubly true when you aren’t sure what your tasks will be and at what heights your linemen will need to be working. If you are responsible for maintaining electrical power distribution, Versalift’s high-quality, safe and reliable catalog of bucket trucks is essential to your future success.

The Versalift Fleet of Bucket Trucks for Electrical Power Distribution.

Versalift bucket trucks come in working heights from 29’ to 219’ and can be customized in thousands of ways. One feature that comes standard on every Versalift bucket truck is ElectroGuard, which includes a 42” insulation gap that prevents electrical current from arcing from the boom to the pedestal. This is more than double the insulation gap length of our competitors.  All Versalift Trucks come with ElectroGuard to protect those men on the ground from being burned or electrocuted, and many of them also come with TruGuard, our patented upper control isolation system. If TruGuard doesn’t come as a standard feature, almost all of our Bucket Trucks can be customized with TruGuard.  The optional TruGuard™ Safety System initially launched in 2015, and then rebuilt and refined in 2016, ensures that your truck is doing everything it can do to make sure you get home safely. Truguard’’s™ patented technology allows hydraulic hoses to feed fluid through an insulation gap, giving you access to all controls and tool ports in the bucket itself while remaining dielectrically secure.  At Versalift, all of our products are designed to exceed the dielectric testing of ANSI and OSHA. We work directly with your fleet managers to design custom protection solutions that provide the tools and configurations to which they are accustomed.

Versalift Trucks are designed to work as part of your team

Does your fleet require smaller and more nimble bucket trucks to be able to access tight spaces, or do you prefer Telescoping Articulated Trucks for their flexibility? Are there specific tasks that require something with a higher working height or material handling?

Your Versalift truck and lift has the controls, fittings, warranties and parts support that reflect our commitment to keeping our Electrical Power Distribution Customers’ fleets on the road, and functioning with as little downtime as absolutely necessary.

Choose from a huge variety of Versalift trucks, from van-mounted, 29’ lifts to articulated telescoping VSTs with material handling capabilities. Customizations like insulation and full boom articulation will help you to feel fully confident in your equipment and in the safety of your employees. Our bucket trucks and aerial lifts are complemented by the powerful, innovative TMD Digger Derrick series, which increases productivity with its sturdy pole clamps and full pressure hydraulic controls. No matter the size of the role you play in supporting, maintaining or managing the electrical power distribution industry, our aerial lifts provide your employees and fleets with the tools they need to safely maximize their capability and efficiency, which means happier customers, happier employees and bigger, better bottom lines.

Versalift Service

Versalift Service is the best in its class because we put our customers first. Customer service is a point of pride within our family of distributors, and we all take ownership in providing to you. We have grown to become the leader in safety, stability and quality leader in Bucket Trucks for North America, South America, and Europe because we take the time to put our customers first. We always want to hear from our customers, so we can understand your concerns, and get you back to the jobsite as quickly as possible. Because the world is changing, we have built advanced technology innovations like our Versalift Partner Portal (VPP), which  allow our customers to manage everything you need to support and maintain your bucket truck from a website, tablet, or smartphone.  Through the VPP, you will be able to access your Bucket Truck manual, order parts, schedule a maintenance call, or speak directly with an engineer.

Versalift is a company that is powered by innovation and quality. In more than 50 years, we have maintained industry leading quality, reliability and safety. Electro guard, which comes standard on all of our aerial lifts, provides a dielectric gap of 42”, which is more than twice the gap of our competitors. You might say that ‘Versalift is over-engineered,’ and a lot of people would agree with you. Details that Versalift pays attention to, like torque striping, allow your technicians to quickly visually inspect the critical pins and bolts in their bucket trucks. Versalift offers several features that demonstrate our quality and show you why we are the right bucket truck manufacturer for our customers in the electrical power distribution industry.
