Bucket Truck Innovation and Versatility
Versalift articulated telescopic bucket trucks are designed to be the safest and most reliable aerial lifts for the telecom, utility, electric power distribution & transmission and sign & light industries. At Versalift, an industry-leading innovator in aerial lifts for more than 50 years, articulated telescopic bucket trucks are found in the popular SST series and VST series, as well as in our higher reach Aerial Lifts.
ARTICULATED TELESCOPIC AERIAL LIFT - HIGHLIGHTS
Versalift offers a broad line of articulated telescopic bucket trucks to cover almost every need. Because these trucks have such a wide variety of uses, they are built to accommodate almost any situation. Whether it is one truck for a family business or a larger fleet order, Versalift customers can expect a relationship that exceeds their expectations.
The SST series of articulated telescopic bucket trucks is customizable and has industry leading reach. Because it is very stable and highly maneuverable, it is a high quality fleet vehicle. SST aerial lifts can be insulated using Electroguard, which achieves complete insulation in any boom position, including completely closed. With additional built-in redundant safety features and demonstrated lower lifecycle costs, SST aerial lifts are safe, reliable and the best in the industry.
Versalift VST bucket trucks feature an articulating telescopic lift, and are built for medium to heavy duty work. Versatile and durable, the largest VSTs can reach over 100 ft. VST articulated telescoping aerial lifts are used in a variety of industries. Because it is designed to be customized, the VST series can be mounted on multiple heavy duty chassis. Optional material handling, combined with industry leading insulation and isolation systems, makes the VST series flexible enough to be used in the telecommunications, electric utility and sign & light industries.
Customizations to Articulated Telescopic aerial lifts
Articulated telescopic bucket trucks are available in a wide range of working heights, from 40’ to more than 100’, and a broad range of horizontal reaches. VST models are often customized to include a high weight-rated winch and jib to accommodate material handling needs. Fully hydraulic upper controls provide the smoothest movement of any aerial lift in the world.
We have invented and patented several safety innovations, including ElectroGuard and TruGuard. ElectroGuard is available on every insulated telescopic and articulated telescopic aerial lift up to 60 feet. Additionally, many of our lifts can be customized with TruGuard™, our patented upper control isolation system. The innovative TruGuard™ Safety System provides an added layer of protection to linemen who are working at the platform.
Versalift Safety: TruGuard™
TruGuard™ is Versalift’s proprietary upper control isolating system, which provides another level of protection to linemen working in an aerial lift from phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground electrical contact. TruGuard™ provides unprecedented security and safety to linemen working near electrical phases. TruGuard™ is the safest isolation and insulation system available for bucket trucks today. At Versalift, our commitment to you is to deliver the highest quality, safest and most reliable articulated telescopic bucket trucks available on the market today.
Articulated Telescopic aerial lifts are commonly used in the telecommunications, power transmission, power distribution, electric utility and light & sign industries.

WORLD’S FIRST ARTICULATED TELESCOPIC AERIAL DEVICE - 1980
A lot has changed since we built our first aerial lift in 1965. But one thing that has not is our approach. We build every Versalift to last, it is not unusual to see a 30 year old Versalift Bucket Truck being used daily!
UNIQUE VERSALIFT FEATURES
A culture of innovation and quality at Versalift powers our passion to be the best.
- ElectroGuard - Provides a 42” dialectric gap in the Versalift boom, which is more than double the gap of our competitors
- Dual Pin Retention - Every critical pin on the bucket truck and lift assembly has a redundant pin-set, which is then torque striped. Safety is our priority, and our redundant systems prove that.
- TruGuard 2.0™ - Versalift’s proprietary upper control isolating system provides another level of protection to linemen working in an aeriel lift from phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground electrical contact. TruGuard 2.0™ comes standard on every insulated Versalift bucket truck.
- Non-Lube Lift Bearings - Non-lube bearings require little to no maintenance and are designed to last the life of the truck.
- Torque Striping - An extra step that we take to ensure the quality of our work. All critical bolts are torque seal marked, allowing the lift operator to be more efficient, and to receive visual indication when a bolt is loose.
- No Mandatory Tear-Down Inspection - Versalift bucket trucks are engineered to the highest standard of quality so that they last safely and reliably.
As the industry quality leader in bucket trucks, Versalift also manufacturers aerial devices, digger derricks and other specialty equipment for power generation, transmission and distribution, investor-owned utility, telecommunication, light & sign, and tree care industries.
