Versalift is currently seeking to fill several mobile service technician positions across the country. This item is focused on opportunities in the southeast. There are both third-party and corporate owned distributors and service centers across the region. Mobile service technicians are flexible in their schedules, and provide quality service and repair of Time Manufacturing Company products, either in person or over the phone.
What It Takes To Be A Versalift Mobile Service Technician
Mobile service technicians are skilled professionals who work to create value for Versalift customers by troubleshooting, servicing and testing equipment at the jobsite. As a mobile service technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair a variety of service bodies and lift equipment per company specifications and safety guidelines. You should have at least five years of experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, a CDL license, and be able to lift up to fifty pounds. Because you are working independently, you should be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, instruction manuals and measuring devices. One required skill is being able to use cutting and welding equipment. Knowledge in the use of lifting equipment, such as jib hoists, overhead cranes and forklift trucks is essential, and utility fleet experience a plus.
A Day In The Life Of A Mobile Service Technician
Mobile Service Mechanic positions require a great deal of flexibility, and there can be up to full time travel requirements. Mobile service technicians must also be resourceful, because they do their jobs without a lot of supervision, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Interacting With The Client
Client-facing skills are necessary in order to provide quality customer service. Mobile service mechanics tend to interact directly with customers, in person, through phone and text conversations, and via online messages. Mobile service technicians are ultimately servicing equipment for Time Manufacturing Company customers. Specific tasks include checking and adjusting aerial lift hydraulic pressures per unit specs, completing stability tests using specified loads, and checking all operational lift, chassis and option functions. This work requires the maintenance of accurate records and expense reports.

The primary service area is the Southeast: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. With several locations around the region, Versalift Southeast is the Time Manufacturing Company-owned distributor for the southeastern United States. There are also several excellent third-party Versalift distributors who support Versalift customers.
