Bucket Trucks – Forestry & Tree Care

Versalift in the Tree Care Industry

Bucket trucks allow tree care professionals to stand where they need to be in order to do their work. Aerial lifts represent freedom to arborists and other experts, and the tree care and forestry Industries leans upon bucket trucks for that freedom. Forestry is a broad and ranging industry, and it touches upon government work, local resource management, timber, conservation and private land use. Each of these sectors is substantial within the forestry and tree care industry. Because tree care and forestry change depending on location, climate, geography and season, the needs of the industry can not be easily encapsulated, though Versalift offers a set of tree care and forestry tools that are safe, reliable and high quality. As is the case with every Versalift product, bucket trucks for forestry and tree care are built to last and to support the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of your crews. Versalift is proud of its tradition of innovation: more than 30 years ago, Versalift invented the Articulated Telescopic Bucket Truck, and it has been refined over the decades to deliver the safest, most reliable and highest quality bucket trucks to its customers in a wide range of industries, including tree care, land management and forestry.

With a family of distribution, parts and service centers, Versalift is dedicated to helping our customers who work in the forestry and tree care industries to keep their arborists and technicians operating at peak efficiency. Versalift has earned its strong reputation for service and quality, and we did that by keeping our customers’ trucks out on the road. Or, in the case of our rugged line of forestry bucket trucks, keeping trucks OFF the road.

Versalift supports hundreds of forestry, tree care and land management fleets around the world. In a growing and evolving space like tree care, it is essential that you are confident in your equipment, as new disciplines like urban forestry are changing the way we look at tree care. This fact is made more clear when you are tackling a new problem in a new way. If you are responsible for maintaining public land, parks, forested byways or if you are a contractor with a private fleet, Versalift’s high-quality, safe and reliable catalog of bucket trucks is going to be an important factor in your success.

The Versalift Fleet of Bucket Trucks for Tree Care and Forestry.

Versalift bucket trucks come in a huge range of working heights, from 29’ to 219’, and they can be customized in thousands of ways. One feature that comes standard on every Versalift bucket truck is ElectroGuard, which includes a 42” insulation gap that prevents electrical current from arcing from the boom to the pedestal. This is more than double the insulation gap length of our competitors.  In the United States, while many tree care-oriented bucket truck fleets do not require insulation, many of our customers prefer to go the extra mile and provide this additional protection in their fleets. Many of our customers in the tree care and forestry industries favor the Versalift Overcenter (VO) series that we offer. The raw power, ruggedness and durability of the VO series of bucket trucks make it appealing. We work directly with your fleet managers to design custom solutions that provide the tools and configurations that exactly match the specific requirements of your team, your fleet and the natural environment you manage.

Versalift Trucks are designed to work as part of your team

Unique Versalift Features

Versalift bucket trucks are engineered to the highest standard of quality so that they last safely and reliably. The culture of innovation and high quality at Versalift powers the work we do. Several advancements that Versalift has made are available on every one of our bucket trucks. One of our most popular innovations is TruGuard, Versalift’s proprietary upper control isolating system, which provides another level of protection to linemen working in an aerial lift from phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground electrical contact. TruGuard comes standard on many Versalift bucket trucks, and it is an available customization on many others.

Torque striping is an example of our attention to detail. It is an extra step that we take that ensures the high quality of our products. All bolts and pins are torque seal marked by hand, which allows a lift operator to be more efficient, and to visually confirm the security of a critical bolt. Non-Lube Lift Bearings are a feature of Versalift aerial lifts that our customers love.  They do not need to be replaced, and require little to no maintenance. At Versalift, our non-lube lift bearings are designed to outlast the trucks on which our lifts are mounted.
