Bucket truck manufacturer Versalift parent Time Manufacturing Company announced earlier today that it has agreed to acquire Ruthmann, a European manufacturer of aerial work platforms. We expect the deal to close in Q1 2021. Ruthmann is headquartered in Gescher-Hochmoor, Germany. Ruthmann has a long history of manufacturing high-quality, truck-mounted aerial work platforms.
The acquisition of Ruthmann by Time Manufacturing Company will include all brands and subsidiaries, as well as distribution relationships. Ruthmann goes to market under four brands: Ruthmann, Steiger, Ecoline, and Bluelift. There are no planned changes to the staffing of manufacturing, distribution or customer service operations.
Time Manufacturing, through the Versalift, BrandFX, and Aspen Aerial brands offer complementary products and services to Ruthmann, and this will allow both companies to better serve customers on both continents.
